Wedding flowers keepsake 💌 silk scrunchies for Rachel 🌼

After Rachel + Tim's wedding I used some of the table flowers to dye a panel of silk - to achieve this buttery sunny yellow that totally reflected their day it took a few rounds of steaming until the shade was perfect.

The silk was then sewn up into a lusciously large silk scrunchie - a wedding keepsake that is actually useful and would be a beautiful addition to any dressing table ✨️

Im allllll about jam jars and budvases at weddings. They look slightly undone but really sweet. Jam jars with a posy of blooms can be hung on chairs as pew ends or used as markers on hooks to show 'wedding this way ➡️'

Budvases clustered along trestle tables give height and airy movement without blocking conversation (nothing worse than only being able to hear the speeches!)

Jam jars can then be repurposed and moved wherever you please, to the cake table, guest book or wherever needs a little floral zhuzh.

Best of all, your guests can take a Jam jar full of blooms home with them if you choose that option 🌸🫶🍓

It's informal, but oh so pretty. Save for later if this is your kind of thing ♥️

Dozy June heat at home, sleepy poppies, tangles of roses, stained glass hollyhocks and the very last peony.

Back at home to escape the London heat, creating proposals and talking all things flowers and wedding day styling with my 2026 couples. It all comes much easier when this is my backdrop, feeling inspirited and energized for weddings and parties to come 🧡... in between work I've been helping my dad in the garden, having a lot of laughs even though we both are dying with hayfever. What is in the air this year?!

All of this has been fueled/refreshed by gallons of freshly squeezed lemonade made from left over lemons from last weekend's wedding 👌🍋

Mini florist in the making?

I love how my nieces and nephews (mostly Fin and Stella) love flowers and putting them in little jam jars and vases. They both already know quite a few herbs and flower names already 🥰

This was the first activity Stella wanted to do with me when we arrived on the isle of Wight

Mainly geraniums and sweetpeas although she wanted a bit of bindweed in there too 👌

Ingredients: Lilac 🍥Marshmallow + honey peonies 🍯Peach + Cream foxgloves 🍑Sweetpeas🫛Cow parsley🐄 Clematis 🫐 Alliums all perfectly-imperfectly muddled and entwined in wicker meadow baskets. A treat for the bumble bee and wedding guests alike.

These lined the alfresco aisle of our late May wedding. Each one a little different from the other as if the flowers were grown from seed and sprung to life in the basket. These make a wonderful addition to a wedding and can be easily relocated for the reception to make an enchanting entrance to the marquee or as a footer to each table, in front of the bar or dance floor. Anywhere, in fact, that with a little wildflower touch, would be much improved.

All made without the use of floral foam, with entirely sustainable and infinately reusable mechanics.

With their weekly flower deliveries we add a hint of colour, heaps of texture and some free flowing movement to add some interest for their stylists and their clients 💇‍♀️

I also take care to source the vases to fit each space and the vibe 🍶

🐦Swallows & Foxgloves🪶

all the bell-shaped beauties ready to party at last weekend's wedding. ✨️✨️

Listen closely for the swallows swooping overhead... they nest in the stables during the spring and were my soundtrack whilst I made all the arrangements 🐦

For these urns we went for a slightly more muted palette than the more playful meadow aisle. We chose peach and cream foxgloves, honey centred peonies as well as a blush pink variety called chiffon parfait 🍧 the most beautiful green campanulas tumbled over the edges which have now become a firm new favourite of mine! 🫒

The plinths and urns had a fresh lick of Dimity by @farrowandball which toned down the starkness of the white they came in and also helped the white campanulas pop
